The Design
GMCJ Company wanted a simple site that shows what they do and who they are. They provide construction and remodeling in the Metro Boston area (Eastern Massachusetts). The main goal of this site was to be listed when a browser searched for certain keywords in a local section of a search engine.
I met with the customer, took photographs of recent job sites that reflected the different services he provided and began with a simple mock-up.
We took it from there
With a basic layout design and plenty of photographs, we began work on the web site. Within the week, we had a working prototype of the site.
The domain names GMCJCompany.com and GMCJCo.com were purchased and the web site was uploaded to our servers to be broadcast across the internet.
Getting listed
Getting listed in search engines is tricky business for new web sites. Maximum exposure can take weeks, sometimes months, to establish if the page is not built properly.
We take all the information we know about search engines into consideration before, during, and after building the web site to make sure the search engines do not overlook your site.
